Dr. Roger Pecina is a man of many passions and many talents. He is the founder and owner of Afdent, the largest solely owned one-building dental practice in America. His Patient Friendly Dentistry vision has ensured his continued success by making patients the priority in every facet of their experience at the Dentist. On top of his enormous success with Afdent, Dr. Pecina has a love for restoration, history, and the community. His restoration projects like Holden Green Tavern (Cassopolis, MI), a restored speakeasy with old-world charm; or the historic Sinclair Station (Cassopolis, MI), a step back in time when gas was a few cents a gallon; or Faded Times Classic Barbershop (South Bend, IN) with its red leather classic barbershop seats and classic, sweeping storefront, Pecina has worked tirelessly to help the local community have exciting and beautiful places for tourists and locals to visit and share in.
Pecina contributes much of his time and resources to giving back to others and works tirelessly to do so. His boat museum, Mahogany Outfitters, where he sells and buys classic wooden boats, is open and free to the public for viewing during the summer season. Roger also donates and dedicates to the future of dentistry, having just donated to IUSB-South Bend to open a new dental wing for their dental hygiene program.
